This tool includes screw-in inserts for threaded openings which allows it to work with most applications. This tool uses a pilot stud which keeps the harmonic balancer perpendicular to the crankshafts centerline for a bind-free installation. Using a thrust bearing and protective washer the drive nut can rotate freely allowing the balancer to be pressed on freely.
