Product Details

ARP's premium grade header bolt kit delivers exceptional strength and reliability for exhaust header installation. These fasteners are manufactured entirely in-house by ARP, ensuring strict quality control at every stage of production. Each bolt is precision-engineered from heat-treated 8740 chrome moly steel and finished with a corrosion-resistant black oxide coating for long-lasting durability.

Key Features:

 • Heat-treated 8740 chrome moly steel construction with black oxide finish
 • Rated at 170,000 PSI tensile strength—substantially stronger than Grade 8 hardware
 • 5/16" diameter bolts with traditional hex head design
 • 0.750" under head length for proper header installation
 • 14-piece kit includes premium-quality hardened washers
 • Manufactured in-house by ARP for zero-defect quality assurance

ARP's commitment to manufacturing excellence ensures these header bolts provide superior clamping force and resistance to loosening under extreme thermal cycling. The included washers distribute load evenly, preventing damage to header flanges while maintaining consistent torque values.

I had to disable ublock origins to process order. While this doesn't guarantee any security concerns, it is uncommon for online purchasing sites.

Excellent price with no tax and free shipping. What's not to like? Cheaper than Lowes for the same item and it appears that I can get it sooner. I received the order. Shipping was way faster than I expected and was packed well. Overall, 5 stars.

- Updated review -
Autoplicity.com contacted me after my original review and admitted to making a mistake with my order. They have refunded my shipping and I am happy now.

- Original review -
After 18 days the part finally arrived. The filter appears to have been sent directly from K&N, but I ordered on the 20th of June, yet the packing date that K&N Engineering Inc. shows is July 3rd.
