Crane Cams 11979-1 Crane Standard Replacement Bronze Gear

Will fit Accel and MSD distributors with standard configuration gear.

This drive gear is made from high silicon copper alloy and is precision-machined. Most roller cams need this distributor gear unless they have an iron gear pressed onto the cam.

The Crane Standard Replacement Bronze Gear is for Crane Pro-Series Race Distributors. These bronze gears are precision machined for smooth and reliable operation. A bronze gear is required when a steel camshaft is running, unless the cam has an iron cam gear pressed on.

  • Backed by Crane's 1 year Warranty Policy under normal use
  • Drilling is not required and roll pin is not included
  • Gear bore diameter is 0.501" / 0.502"
  • Diameter of the shaft is 0.4980" / 0.4990"
  • Distributor gear material is made of bronze
