ARP 156-5802 Pro Series Main Studs

The studs in this main stud kit are made from 8740 chromemoly steel and have 190000 psi tensile strength rating. They are precision centerless ground and thread rolled to Mil-S-8879 specs. They feature a black oxide finish hardened washers and hex nuts.

There are many important reasons to use ARP main stud kits, including the elimination of main cap walk and fretting, as well as protecting the threads in your engine block. Ordered the product on a Friday at about 11am, the product arrived the following Monday at noon from PA, to KS! The shipping was free, no sales tax, and the product was $65.00 less expensive here. Called customer service prior to ordering to verify a couple of things before ordering, and the experience was excellent! The search function wouldn't find the Pertronix part number 1847A with only the 1847 entered in the search field. I had to enter the whole part number. Less is more in a search, so if you fixed that, more people might find the part they want and order it.

I paid for 2nd day shipping and 5 days later they were shipped out. So, I should receive my rotors in a full week from when I paid for 2 day shipping. I called customer service and they discounted the shipping rate to ground service. At least they were polite and helpful in the phone.

Good prices and easy ordering process (order #18003). The only issue that I had was after placing the order, completing the entire process, I received three emails stating that "We noticed that you started checking out on our site, but didn't quite finish the process". After calling customer service, they ensured me that the order was complete. Since then, I receive the same email(3 emails at a time) on a daily basis. Just a little annoying, but easy enough to delete.
