ARP 254-5501 Pro Series Main Studs

Installation tips: Clean and chase threads in block with a bottom tap Clean and inspect studs and caps Screw studs into block finger tight only Install main caps checking for binding and misalignment Lubricate threads nuts and washers with moly lube ARP-100-9902 or sealant ARP-100-9904 Using the instructions provided with the studs tighten the nuts to proper torque values three times with proper time intervals

The studs in this main stud kit are made from 8740 chromemoly steel and have 190000 psi tensile strength rating. They are precision centerless ground and thread rolled to Mil-S-8879 specs. They feature a black oxide finish hardened washers and hex nuts.
