ARP 300-6726 Custom Age 625+ Connecting Rod Bolt Kit for Aluminum Rods

The ARP 300-6726 is a premium connecting rod bolt kit designed specifically for Venolia, Brooks, and KB aluminum connecting rods. This 2-piece kit is manufactured from ARP's Custom Age 625+ super-alloy material, representing the cutting edge in fastener technology with superior fatigue cycle life, tensile strength, and complete resistance to atmospheric corrosion and oxidation.

Key Features:

• Custom Age 625+ super-alloy material with 260,000-280,000 psi tensile strength
• Includes hardened washers for proper load distribution
• Forged in-house at ARP using premium quality materials
• Heat-treated using special vertical racks to ensure complete 360-degree penetration
• Threads rolled after heat-treat for up to 10 times longer fatigue strength
• Precision CNC-machined to exacting specifications
• Complete immunity to hydrogen embrittlement and stress corrosion

Application:

This kit is designed as a replacement for aluminum connecting rods from Venolia, Brooks, and KB. The Custom Age 625+ material offers superior performance over standard chrome moly bolts, with tensile strength comparable to MP-35 at a lower cost. This makes it ideal for high-performance racing applications including road racing, endurance events, and high-RPM drag racing where reliability and fatigue resistance are critical.

Important Maintenance Note:

ARP recommends monitoring the stretch of each bolt and replacing it when it has permanently elongated by 0.0005 inches. This ensures optimal connecting rod reliability and prevents catastrophic failure. Each bolt is proudly stamped with the ARP name as your assurance of quality.
