ARP 900-2700 Piston Ring Compressor Tool

The ARP 900-2700 is a precision-engineered piston ring compressor designed for professional engine builders and serious automotive enthusiasts. CNC-machined from high-strength 6061-T6 billet aluminum tube material, this tool features a true radius bore that perfectly matches the cylinder diameter for smooth, damage-free piston installation.

Key Features:

• CNC-machined from 6061-T6 billet aluminum for exceptional strength and durability
• True radius bore design eliminates the problems associated with conventional tapered compressors
• Relieved bottom edge accommodates wire O-rings without interference
• Type 3 hard anodized finish for long-lasting wear resistance
• Bore size prominently engraved in 3/4-inch high numbers for quick identification
• Professional-grade tool widely acclaimed by engine builders

The true radius design ensures even compression of all piston rings simultaneously, preventing ring damage and making installation significantly easier compared to tapered compressors. The relieved bottom edge allows the tool to work with modern wire-type O-ring grooves found in many engine blocks. Type 3 anodizing provides a hard, durable surface that resists wear and galling even after repeated use.
