The FX500 system features the Power Plus II pressure plate paired with a solid hub sintered iron or rigid puck disc. The sintered iron friction material provides exceptional grip while rapidly dissipating heat generated during aggressive launches and power application. This is a race-only clutch with harsh engagement characteristics—the solid hub design engages and disengages instantly, and chatter during engagement from a stop is normal.
