The Spec Clutch SC403H-2 Stage 2 Plus Clutch Kit is a high-performance clutch upgrade engineered to bridge the gap between the Stage 2 and Stage 3 systems. It delivers the smooth, predictable engagement and everyday drivability of a Stage 2 clutch while adding 15–20% more torque capacity, making it an ideal solution for performance-driven street machines and track-day competitors alike.

At the heart of this kit is a multi-friction disc in a full-faced configuration, combining carbon semi-metallic friction material on one side and Kevlar on the other. This hybrid design maximizes grip, heat resistance, and wear life across a wide range of demanding driving conditions. The hub is double-sprung with spring cover reliefs for enhanced flexibility, while heat-treated internal components ensure long-term strength and durability under high-stress use.

This kit also includes a high-clamp pressure plate and a bearing and tool kit, providing everything needed for a complete clutch system upgrade. The SPEC SC403H-2 requires the use of a SPEC billet single-mass flywheel and is rated for torque loads up to 335 ft-lbs.

Installation Note: If not using a new SPEC flywheel, the existing flywheel must be resurfaced prior to installation. A break-in period of at least 450 miles of primarily city or stop-and-go driving is required before full-throttle engagement.
