The Spec Clutch SJ381 Stage 1 Clutch Kit is a complete, high-performance upgrade over OEM clutch components, engineered for drivers who demand stock-like daily drivability with significantly improved durability and torque capacity. The kit features a non-ratcheting high-clamp pressure plate designed to deliver higher clamp loads, improved longevity, better shifting, and superior reliability across a wide range of driving conditions.

At the heart of the Stage 1 disc is an integrally molded carbon Kevlar-based, high-performance organic friction lining that provides smooth, progressive engagement and excellent wear life. The lining is bonded to a hardened steel backing plate that maintains structural integrity under elevated clamp loads and operating temperatures. The hub assembly is double-sprung with spring cover reliefs for enhanced flexibility and vibration dampening, while heat-treated internal components ensure long-term strength and durability.
