Spec Clutch SL252 Stage 2 Kevlar Clutch Kit

The Spec Clutch SL252 Stage 2 Clutch Kit is a high-performance clutch system engineered for drivers who demand more holding power and durability than a stock or Stage 1 unit can provide, without giving up everyday street manners. It features a segmented or full-faced pure Kevlar friction disc with steel backing — a proven material combination that delivers excellent drivability while stepping up torque capacity and service life compared to the Stage 1.

The disc hub is double-sprung with spring cover reliefs for added rotational flexibility, and all hub components are heat-treated for long-term strength and durability under demanding conditions. The high-clamp pressure plate works in conjunction with the Kevlar disc assembly to maximize grip across a wide range of driving environments, from daily commuting to the drag strip.

Key Features:

• Pure Kevlar friction material — segmented or full-faced disc with steel backing for durability and consistent engagement
• High-clamp pressure plate — increased clamping force over stock for greater torque capacity
• Double-sprung hub assembly — spring cover reliefs provide flexibility; heat-treated components add strength
• High-torque sprung hub and disc assembly — engineered for performance driving without sacrificing streetability
• Bearing and alignment tool kit included — everything needed for installation

Ideal Driving Applications: Street, Drag Racing, Pulling, Autocross

Manufactured in the USA, every Spec Clutch kit is built to precise tolerances and developed for specific driving environments. The Stage 2 strikes the ideal balance between street drivability and performance holding power, making it a top choice for mildly to moderately modified vehicles that see mixed street and competition use.
