Product Details

The QA1 CFR12T is a carbon steel female rod end from the CF-T Series, featuring a self-lubricating PTFE liner for reduced maintenance and smooth operation. This 2-piece economy-style rod end uses a mohawk design with only two components: a precision-ground ball and a swaged body that locks around the ball, making it an economical choice for light to medium-duty suspension and steering applications.

Ball Specifications:

52100 bearing steel construction
Heat treated for strength and durability
Hard chrome plated surface
Precision ground for smooth articulation

Body Specifications:

Carbon steel body construction
Protective coating for corrosion resistance
PTFE (Teflon) liner for self-lubrication
Female configuration with 3/4 inch bore and 3/4 inch thread

The PTFE liner eliminates the need for frequent greasing while providing excellent wear resistance and low friction operation. This rod end is available in both left and right hand thread configurations. The protective coating on the carbon steel body ensures long-term corrosion resistance in demanding environments.

Note: Load ratings apply to rod ends without grease fittings. Custom stud configurations are available by contacting QA1 directly.

** Update 4/18/2012<br>Everything arrived in several different shipments. I did experience a problem with some FelPro Headbolts that I had ordered. I ordered two and only received one, but after a short phone call with Paul from shipping, the problem was fixed and my second set of bolts were shipped.<br><br>They had the cheapest price that I could find on several products. I did not like the order confirmations on there website as I had to copy and paste to search for my tracking number. I am supposed to receive my order today and I am scared because the two weights do not match up. Autoplicity says 37.7 pounds and fedex says 3.8 pounds. Maybe there is more than one tracking number and I just do not know.
