Dunlop Dragmax Motorcycle Tire

The Dunlop Dragmax motorcycle tire is Dunlop's first drag-racing-specific radial. It is a DOT-legal drag racing tire for Pro Street-style competition and for pro and amateur racers. It is built for straight-line launches, grip and stability, and it handles the power of modern high-horsepower sportbikes and V-twin drag bikes.

Key Features:

• N-TEC radial construction: combines compliant cut-breaker construction with continuously wound aramid fiber, plus Jointless Band (JLB) and Jointless Tread (JLT) technology, for stability, feel and consistency.
• Maximum Grip Technology (MGT): a flat profile, an ultra-soft compound and N-TEC construction work together for traction from the starting line through the finish.
• Ultra-soft compound: Dunlop describes it as the softest compound it has made at its Buffalo, NY plant.
• Flat profile: gives a wide, flat footprint. It is designed to run at very low drag-racing pressures.
• Low centrifugal growth: the construction limits growth at high speed. This helps keep the contact patch consistent and reduces the risk of de-beading.
• Minimal tread pattern: the tread is kept at the minimum level needed to meet DOT requirements.
• Made in the USA: built in the same factory, on the same machines, as Dunlop's MotoAmerica road-race slicks.

Dunlop suggests starting at about 11 PSI cold and adjusting from there. The best pressure varies with track surface and machine type and size. Choose the front or rear fitment that suits your drag bike.
