Goodyear Eagle Asymmetric SCT Summer Tire

The Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 5 SCT is a summer ultra high performance passenger tire. It is built for sport and luxury vehicles and for drivers who want sharp handling, short braking distances and a quiet ride. The SCT designation stands for Sound Comfort Technology. Goodyear fits the tire as original equipment on select performance-oriented vehicles.

Key Features:

• Sound Comfort Technology (SCT): reduces road noise and vibration for a quieter, more comfortable ride.
• Asymmetric tread pattern: improves traction, cornering stability and handling response.
• Highly refined summer compound with extra silica: helps deliver grip and braking in both wet and dry conditions.
• Active Braking Technology and long shoulder blocks: help shorten braking distances on wet and dry roads.
• Power Cushion Technology: a stronger, lightweight construction that supports handling and ride comfort.
• Wide circumferential grooves and open shoulders: move water out of the tread to help reduce the risk of hydroplaning.
• Black sidewall and a summer-only design.

Summer tires are not intended for use when temperatures are consistently below 45°F. The Eagle F1 Asymmetric 5 SCT suits drivers who want a balance of ultra high performance and everyday comfort in warm-weather driving.
