Firestone Firehawk Indy XL Ultra High Performance Summer Tire

The Firestone Firehawk Indy ultra high performance summer tire is built for sports cars, muscle cars, sporty coupes and performance sedans. It draws on Firestone's racing heritage and is designed to give sharp steering response, strong grip and stable cornering on dry and wet roads.

Key Features:

• Asymmetric tread design: Maximizes road contact. Rigid shoulder blocks help cornering stability and steering response.
• Performance silica-enhanced compound: Gives consistent grip and predictable traction during spirited driving, with good wear resistance for a performance tire.
• Pulse Groove Technology: Circumferential grooves help evacuate water to reduce hydroplaning risk and support wet braking and traction.
• Optimized contact pressure: The tread block design supports long tread life and improved fuel efficiency.
• Reinforced internal construction: A polyester casing sits under twin steel belts with nylon reinforcement for responsive handling and high-speed stability.
• XL (extra load) construction and a performance speed rating.
• ENLITEN technology: Includes components from Bridgestone's ENLITEN technology suite.

Like all summer tires, this tire is not intended for use in near-freezing temperatures, snow or ice. It suits drivers who want a responsive, sporty tire for street and spirited driving.
