Firestone Maxi Traction Agricultural Radial Tire

The Firestone Maxi Traction agricultural radial tire (also called a tractor tire or farm tire) is built for high-horsepower tractors, combines and harvesters. It has an R-1W lug depth and a dual-angle lug design. These features give it traction in a wide range of soil conditions, including wet fields.

Key Features:

• R-1W lug depth: The lug is about 25 percent deeper than a standard R-1 tread. This adds wearable volume and flexibility across different soil types.
• Dual-angle lug technology: The multi-angled bar face increases contact area and helps the tire clean out. It also reduces soil disturbance, which helps limit compaction.
• Steeper bar taper and curved bars: These resist irregular wear and help the tread wear evenly for longer tire life.
• Overlapping lug design: This improves wear life and ride comfort when traveling on the road between fields.
• Radial construction: The radial casing absorbs shock for a smoother ride.
• AD2 technology on select tires: Bridgestone's Advanced Deflection Design lets the tire carry its load at lower inflation pressure. This reduces soil compaction and improves traction.

The Maxi Traction line is engineered by Firestone Ag, a Bridgestone Americas business. It is designed to help farmers get more from their equipment while reducing the toll on their fields during critical seasons.
