ARB Bypass Coilover

The ARB Old Man Emu BP-51 Bypass Coilover is a high-performance bypass coilover shock and spring assembly for on-road and off-road driving. BP-51 stands for Bypass, 51mm diameter bore. Each unit is a fully assembled strut and coilover. It was designed, developed and tested in-house by ARB's Old Man Emu ride engineers. The aim is to improve both comfort and control.

Key Features:

• Internal bypass technology: Adds a fluid flow path around the piston. This gives position-sensitive damping, a smoother ride, and more control near the ends of travel.
• 51mm (2 in) bore monotube design: Uses a remote reservoir to increase oil capacity and help keep damping consistent.
• Adjustable damping: Rebound and compression can be adjusted separately. This lets you tune the ride for load, terrain or trip conditions.
• 6061-T6 aluminum construction: The body and components are hard anodized. This helps with heat dissipation and corrosion resistance.
• Preload-adjustable spring seat: Lets you set ride height from factory height up to about 3 inches of lift, depending on the application.
• Vehicle-specific design: Uses the existing factory mounting locations, so installation does not need extra vehicle modification.
• Serviceable: Can be rebuilt and re-valved by a qualified suspension technician.
