QA1 Precision Products carbon steel left hand rod ends (also called heim joints or rod end bearings) are made for suspension linkages, control arms, tie rods, and other custom chassis and racing uses. The left-hand thread lets you build adjustable links with a right-hand/left-hand pairing, so you can adjust length without removing the link.

  • Carbon steel construction: The rod end body is carbon steel. On the C Series it is protective coated for corrosion resistance.
  • Hardened ball: The ball is heat-treated 52100 bearing steel with a hard chrome finish. It rotates smoothly, even under load.

  • Configuration options: The line includes options such as stud mounts, grease fittings, and PTFE-lined versions. These vary by item.
