Firestone ANS Motorcycle Tire Bias-Ply Blackwall

The Firestone ANS motorcycle tire is a vintage-style bias-ply blackwall motorcycle tire for classic restorations, bobbers, choppers and retro custom builds. The ANS name stands for "All Non-Skid." Firestone introduced the design in the 1940s as part of its "A Tire for Every Riding Condition" campaign. Its blocky, sawtooth-style tread gives it a rugged, period-correct look.

Key Features:

• Bias-ply construction: Ply cords run at an angle and overlap in a crisscross pattern. This is the same tire technology used on motorcycles of the era.
• Classic blackwall styling: The solid black sidewall suits vintage and custom motorcycles.
• Authentic tread design: Traditional tread and sidewall markings help keep restorations visually correct.
• Tube-type design: The tire is made to be mounted with an inner tube.
• Classic ride feel: Expect more road feedback and a softer sidewall feel than a modern radial gives.

This tire suits riders who want authentic handling and appearance on a vintage or custom motorcycle. As with any bias-ply tire, it can follow pavement grooves and ruts more than a modern radial does. Keep it correctly inflated and match it to the correct rim size.
