Genuine Porsche 955 355 579 51 Brake Booster Vacuum Hose Pump to Booster Line

The Genuine Porsche 955 355 579 51 is an OEM brake booster vacuum hose, also referred to as the pump-to-booster line, engineered specifically for the Porsche Cayenne 955 chassis. This hose carries vacuum pressure from the brake vacuum pump directly to the brake booster, which is essential for proper power-assisted braking performance.

Key Features:

• Genuine Porsche OEM replacement part — built to original factory specifications
• Serves as the vacuum supply line running from the brake vacuum pump to the brake booster
• Engineered for the 4.5L V8 BiTurbo engine platform
• Direct-fit replacement — no modification required
• Supersedes earlier part number 955-355-579-50

How the Brake Booster Vacuum Hose Works:

The brake booster reduces the pedal effort required to stop the vehicle by using engine vacuum to multiply braking force. A cracked, deteriorated, or leaking vacuum hose reduces the hydraulic and vacuum pressure assisting the brakes, resulting in a harder pedal feel and longer stopping distances. Replacing a failed hose with a Genuine Porsche unit restores full braking assistance and ensures a proper, leak-free connection between components.
