Kartboy KB-001-01006 TALLBOY Short Shifter Kit

The Kartboy KB-001-01006 TALLBOY Short Shifter Kit is the original American-made short shifter that put Kartboy on the map. Designed as a direct swap for the factory shifter, it delivers a driver-focused, crisp gear-change experience with up to 40% less shift throw — all while maintaining a knob height approximate to your stock unit.

Unlike a traditional short shifter that drops the knob lower, the TALLBOY design preserves stock-like ergonomics while still delivering the full mechanical advantage of a short throw shifter. The result is quicker, more precise shifts that feel natural whether you're commuting daily or pushing hard on a back road.

Key Features:

• Up to 40% shorter shift throw for faster, more precise gear changes
• Stock-approximate shifter height — the defining feature of the TALLBOY design
• CNC-machined and TIG-welded from 4130 Chromoly steel for exceptional strength and durability
• Direct factory replacement — bolt-in fitment, no modifications required
• Installation in approximately 30 minutes with basic hand tools
• Proudly made in the USA

The Kartboy KB-001-01006 TALLBOY Short Shifter is the ideal upgrade for Subaru enthusiasts who want the performance benefits of a short throw shifter without sacrificing the natural feel of a stock knob position. A foundational performance upgrade backed by Kartboy's legendary quality.
