The HKS 13001-AT011 R-Type Intercooler Kit is an engineered direct-replacement intercooler developed exclusively for the Toyota GR Yaris GXPA16 Gen 2 (2024+) equipped with the GR-DAT 8-speed automatic transmission. Designed to significantly reduce intake air temperatures and minimize pressure losses, this kit offers measurable performance gains over the factory intercooler on the G16E-GTS turbocharged engine.

HKS increased both the height and thickness of the core compared to the OEM unit, optimizing fin shape to maximize cooling performance while maintaining airflow volume — helping to reduce the impact on engine coolant temperature. The inlet and outlet ports have been upgraded from the stock 45mm to a larger 50mm diameter to better support higher output applications.
