Product Details

The H&R RF085-36-030 is a single 36mm inner diameter race spring engineered for serious motorsport applications. Part of H&R's dedicated Motorsport Race Spring program, this spring delivers the consistent, repeatable performance demanded in road racing, time attack, autocross, and custom competition builds.

Manufactured entirely in Germany, this spring is crafted from special lightweight 54SiCr6 high-tensile spring steel, allowing for a thinner wire cross-section without sacrificing strength. The result is a spring that is approximately 15% lighter and offers approximately 10% more travel compared to conventional race springs at the same rate — a critical advantage in weight-sensitive competition vehicles.

Key Specifications:

  • Inner Diameter (I.D.): 36mm
  • Free Length: 3.35 inches
  • Spring Rate: 172 lbs/inch
  • Block Height: 1.22 inches
  • Load at Block: 364 lbs
  • Weight: 0.29 lbs per spring

Key Features:

  • Manufactured from lightweight (hf) 54SiCr6 special spring steel for superior strength-to-weight ratio
  • Factory pre-blocked so the spring will never set or sag over time
  • Produced to strict tolerances for consistent, predictable spring rates
  • Part of the H&R 36mm Motorsport lineup, compatible with 36mm I.D. coilover systems
  • Precision-engineered and manufactured in Germany to exceed ISO quality standards

The H&R 36mm I.D. Race Spring line covers a broad range of setups, with lengths from 2.76" to 5.12" and rates from 72 to 686 lbs/inch, making the RF085-36-030 an ideal choice for fine-tuning a short, stiff front or rear suspension corner on a dedicated competition car.

First time ordering

Quick and easy

This is one of those rare cases when I'm really eager to provide feedback because every part of this purchase transaction was simply outstanding! It was easy and straightforward to find the item (helmet) and buy it online, the price was much better than competing stores, and I was so happy when it arrived on my doorstep a mere two days after I bought it! Communication via email was clear and informative, and the helmet itself I'm very pleased with and it was packaged securely and safely. I really appreciate all the hard work by Autoplicity to make this one of those truly good shopping experiences. Thank you!

Shipping was SUPER fast! Really great experience!
