GReddy 12015700 Water-Cooled Oil Cooler Upgrade Kit ZN8/ZD8

The GReddy 12015700 Water-Cooled Oil Cooler Upgrade Kit is a precision-engineered cooling solution designed to enhance the factory water-cooled oil cooling system found on the FA24-powered GR86 and BRZ platform (ZN8/ZD8). While the stock system manages oil temperatures by circulating coolant through the oil block, this upgrade takes heat exchange efficiency a step further by introducing a dedicated aluminum cooler core positioned in front of the radiator to pre-cool the coolant before it reaches the oil block.

The newly designed aluminum cooler core is lightweight and delivers excellent heat dissipation performance. Its placement has been carefully engineered to avoid interference with the radiator and air conditioning condenser. The coolant circuit is completed using a durable rubber hose rated for use with engine coolant, offering flexibility and long-term reliability equivalent to OEM components.

This kit is designed for enthusiasts who experience rising oil temperatures during spirited street driving or canyon runs. It installs between the factory coolant lines, making it reversible and straightforward to remove if needed. Reference installation time is approximately one hour, including bumper removal and coolant air-bleeding procedures.
