McLeod 6435825MD Muscle Car Street Twin Heavy-Duty Dual Disc Clutch Kit

The McLeod 6435825MD is a Muscle Car Street (RST) Heavy-Duty Twin Disc Clutch Kit engineered for high-performance street and strip applications. McLeod's twin disc design dramatically increases clamping surface area, allowing the clutch to handle significantly higher torque loads compared to a comparable single-disc setup — all while maintaining a manageable pedal effort for street-driven vehicles.

Key Features:

• Dual Disc Design: Twin friction discs double the contact area for superior torque capacity without requiring excessive spring pressure
• Heavy-Duty Construction: Robust pressure plate and floater plate engineered to withstand the demands of high-horsepower performance engines
• Street-Friendly Operation: Designed to balance race-level torque holding with drivability suitable for daily and street use
• Premium Friction Material: High-performance organic or ceramic-metallic friction material (varies by configuration) for consistent engagement and long service life
• Complete Kit: Includes pressure plate assembly, twin friction discs, floater plate, alignment tool, and all necessary hardware
• McLeod Quality: Manufactured in the USA by McLeod Racing, a trusted name in performance drivetrain components since 1971

The McLeod RST Heavy-Duty Twin clutch system is ideal for enthusiasts running modified engines with elevated torque output who demand reliable, repeatable performance on the street and occasional track use. Always verify torque ratings and flywheel compatibility before installation.
