Cometic C14133-052 CG MLS Cylinder Head Gasket 0.052in Thick

The Cometic C14133-052 is a premium Multi-Layer Steel (MLS) cylinder head gasket engineered for high-performance and demanding street applications. With a compressed thickness of 0.052 inches, this gasket delivers precise compression ratio tuning and a reliable combustion seal without the need for additional sealants or re-torquing.

Key Features:

• Multi-Layer Steel (MLS) Construction: Comprised of multiple embossed layers of both proprietary high-temperature coated and uncoated stainless steel for superior strength and resilience
• Viton-Coated Outer Layers: Embossed outer layers are coated on both sides with fluoroelastomer (Viton) material, heat resistant to 250°C (482°F), sealing effectively across a wide range of load conditions and surface finishes
• Uncoated Stainless Steel Center/Shim Layer: The center layer can be varied to accommodate multiple thickness requirements, providing flexibility for compression ratio adjustments
• Reduced Bore Distortion: Requires less clamp load than traditional gaskets, conforming load distribution evenly across the sealing surface for better piston ring seal and more consistent power
• No Sealants or Re-Torque Required: Installs cleanly with no additional prep products needed
• Stainless Steel Durability: Selected for its increased tensile strength, ability to rebound under load, and corrosion resistance
• Compressed Thickness: 0.052 inches
• Made in the USA

Cometic's MLS head gaskets are ideal for both aluminum-head-to-cast-iron-block and aluminum-head-to-aluminum-block applications, making the C14133-052 a versatile choice for performance builds and engine rebuilds alike.
