ACT TC9-HDSS Heavy Duty Performance Street Sprung Clutch Kit

The ACT TC9-HDSS is a Heavy Duty / Performance Street (HDSS) Clutch Kit from Advanced Clutch Technology (ACT), engineered for drivers who demand more than stock clutch performance without sacrificing daily drivability. This kit pairs ACT's heavy-duty pressure plate with a performance street sprung disc, delivering increased clamp load and improved torque capacity over OEM.

Key Features:

• Heavy Duty Pressure Plate: Increased clamping force over stock for enhanced torque handling and reduced slip under hard acceleration
• Performance Street Sprung Disc: Features a sprung hub dampener for smooth engagement and reduced drivetrain shock — ideal for street and mild performance use
• Premium Friction Material: ACT's proprietary organic/high-performance friction material provides consistent feel, improved wear resistance, and reliable grip
• Precision Machined Components: CNC-machined pressure plate cover and floater for precise clamp load and balanced performance
• Streetable Feel: Designed to maintain a near-stock pedal feel while significantly improving clutch holding capacity
• OEM-Quality Release Bearing: Kit includes a matched release bearing for complete installation confidence

ACT clutch kits undergo rigorous dyno testing and quality validation at their California facility. The TC9-HDSS is an excellent upgrade for modified vehicles running bolt-on performance parts where the stock clutch is no longer adequate, while still being comfortable enough for daily driving.
