ACT 6240515 6-Pad Sprung Race Clutch Disc 240mm Ceramic

The ACT 6240515 is a 6-pad spring-centered race clutch disc engineered for high-performance and competition applications. Built around a 240mm (9.4-inch) ceramic friction disc, it delivers the aggressive engagement and rapid shift response demanded by serious motorsport use.

Key Features:

• Premium ceramic friction material provides high heat tolerance, a high coefficient of friction, and low wear rates under sustained racing conditions
• 6-pad puck design offers better heat management and engagement compared to 4-pad configurations, while still delivering quick, decisive shifts
• Spring-centered (sprung) hub incorporates heavy-duty torsional dampening springs to reduce driveline shock, spline wear, and gear noise relative to rigid-hub designs
• Drive plate constructed from high-carbon spring steel, heat-treated and zinc-plated to resist bending, cracking, fatigue, and corrosion under severe racing conditions
• Precision broached splines ensure an exact fit onto the transmission input shaft for long spline life and reliable clutch release
• Wraparound spring windows and thicker retainer stampings reduce stress concentrations and increase overall strength and reliability
• SFI 1.1 certified for sanctioned racing use
• 12-month warranty backed by ACT (Advanced Clutch Technology)

ACT race discs are intended for high-horsepower performance and competition use. Engagement is aggressive and shifting is fast, making this disc ideal for track, drag, or road race environments. Note: puck-style race discs are not recommended for street or daily driving use.
