The Dayco 5VX1400 is a narrow cogged wedge V-belt engineered for demanding power transmission applications. Built to the 5VX section standard, this belt delivers high horsepower capacity in a compact profile, making it an ideal choice for industrial drives, agricultural equipment, HVAC systems, plant machinery, and machine shop equipment.

The raw-edge cogged construction reduces bending stress when operating over smaller diameter pulleys and promotes cooler running temperatures compared to standard smooth V-belts. The wedge profile combined with raw edge construction enables higher HP ratings over conventional non-cogged V-belts. Helically wound polyester tensile cords provide excellent dimensional stability and resistance to tension decay over the belt's service life.
