Diode Dynamics DD8950 SS3 Dual-Color Type X SAE LED Fog Light Kit

The Diode Dynamics SS3 Dual-Color Type X LED Fog Light Kit (DD8950) delivers two premium output colors in a single, road-legal fog light pod. Selectable between 6000K cool white and 3000K selective yellow, this kit gives drivers the flexibility to choose crisp modern white light for everyday driving or switch to high-contrast yellow for improved visibility in rain, snow, fog, and dust conditions.

Key Features:

• Selectable 6000K white and 3000K selective yellow output in one lamp
• SmartSelect Control — switch colors using the factory fog light switch, no additional selector switch required
• Cycle the lamps on and off three times to enter programming mode; leave preferred color on for five seconds to save selection
• One purpose-built Dual-Color power level optimized for both output colors
• Focused, SAE-compliant fog beam pattern in both white and yellow modes
• Integrated amber backlight for accent lighting
• Advanced TIR optics for high efficiency and focused output
• Custom bracket with bezel for a clean, factory-style appearance
• Plug-and-play installation — wire adapters connect directly to factory fog light sockets, no additional wiring needed
• Durable powdercoated aluminum housing
• Tested for long-term operation from -40°F to 185°F, including vibration, moisture intrusion, and corrosion testing to SAE standards
• Engineered and assembled in the USA

Installation is straightforward: simply remove the factory fog light assembly and bolt the SS3 kit directly in its place. The included custom bracket and wire adapters make this a true bolt-on, plug-and-play upgrade requiring no modification to the vehicle. The SS3 Stage Series fog light pods are built for maximum functionality with higher output intensity than competing 3-inch lights on the market, all while maintaining full road legality.
