Diode Dynamics DD8933 SS3 Dual-Color Type A SAE Fog Light Kit

The Diode Dynamics SS3 Dual-Color Type A SAE Fog Light Kit (DD8933) delivers two powerful output options in a single, purpose-built LED pod. Selectable 6000K cool white and 3000K selective yellow color temperatures give drivers the flexibility to match their style or optimize visibility for changing road conditions.

Key Features:

• Dual-Color Output: Switch between 6000K cool white for a modern appearance and 3000K selective yellow for improved contrast in rain, snow, fog, and dust
• SmartSelect Control: Color selection is handled through the factory fog light switch — no additional selector switch or wiring required; cycle the lamps on and off three times to enter programming mode, then leave the lamps on for five seconds to save your preferred color
• Purpose-Built Power Level: One dedicated Dual-Color output level, positioned between the SS3 Sport and Pro in the Stage Series lineup
• SAE-Compliant Fog Pattern: Focused, road-legal fog beam pattern delivered in both white and yellow output modes
• Integrated Amber Backlight: Illuminates the TIR optic for a distinctive, modern look when parking lights or DRLs are active
• Advanced TIR Optics: Custom-engineered Total Internal Reflection optics maximize light efficiency and beam focus
• Durable Construction: Powder-coated aluminum housing tested for long-term operation from -40°F to 185°F, with vibration, moisture intrusion, and corrosion testing completed to SAE standards
• Engineered and Assembled in the USA

The SS3 Dual-Color Type A kit is a bolt-on, plug-and-play upgrade. Wire adapters are included to connect directly to your factory fog light sockets with no additional wiring or modification required. Whether you want a crisp, modern white look for everyday driving or the proven visibility benefits of selective yellow in adverse weather, the DD8933 delivers both in one clean package.
