Brembo P85098X eXtra Performance Low-Met Front Disc Brake Pad Set

The Brembo P85098X is a front disc brake pad set from Brembo's eXtra (X) performance line, engineered to deliver enhanced stopping power over standard OE-equivalent pads while maintaining everyday drivability. The eXtra compound uses a specially formulated low-metallic friction material that provides a higher friction coefficient than Brembo's standard Low-Met pads, resulting in shorter stopping distances and more responsive, confident braking feel.

Key Features:

• eXtra Performance Compound: Low-metallic friction formula tuned for improved bite and enhanced stopping power versus standard replacement pads
• OE-Precision Molding: Manufactured using OE molding processes to ensure proper pad-to-rotor fitment and eliminate NVH (noise, vibration, harshness) issues
• Scorching Process: All Brembo pads undergo a special scorching treatment that significantly reduces brake fade and minimizes break-in time straight from the box
• Multilayered Shim: ESE (Elastomer-Steel-Elastomer) shim construction dampens vibration and suppresses noise during braking
• Chamfers and Slots: Precision-machined chamfers and slots improve braking comfort by minimizing vibration and reducing noise
• Complete Hardware Kit: All necessary installation hardware is included for a professional-quality, hassle-free installation
• OE Cross-Reference: Replaces Audi OE part number 8K0698151H

Brembo's eXtra line bridges the gap between standard street pads and dedicated performance compounds, making the P85098X an ideal upgrade for drivers who demand more responsive braking without sacrificing daily comfort or rotor compatibility. Backed by Brembo's world-renowned engineering and quality control standards, these pads meet or exceed original equipment material specifications.
