The ACT T1SS-N04 is a Mod-Twin 225 Heavy Duty Sprung Street Clutch Kit engineered for high-powered Nissan applications demanding very high torque capacity without sacrificing street drivability. ACT's Mod-Twin platform addresses the common tradeoffs found on traditional twin-disc clutches by delivering an ultra-durable, fully modular design with uncompromised pedal feel and progressive engagement characteristics.

At the core of this system is ACT's sprung Mono-Drive hub assembly, which uniformly distributes torque across both friction surfaces while absorbing driveline shock from torsional vibration — extending input shaft life compared to rigid hub designs. Steel-backed friction plates with premium organic friction materials ensure a stable friction coefficient, excellent heat capacity, and long service life. Each diaphragm spring undergoes an exclusive four-stage heat-treating process to deliver consistent, light pedal feel across the RPM range.
