Product Details

The Koni 8245 1416 Special Active is a premium rear shock absorber engineered for the Audi A6 (C8) platform. Part of KONI's latest-generation Special Active product line, this shock absorber delivers the ideal balance between performance handling and everyday ride comfort — without requiring any manual adjustment.

At the heart of this unit is KONI's patented Frequency Selective Damping (FSD) technology, which automatically senses and responds to changing road conditions. The FSD valve provides firm, controlled damping during hard cornering and aggressive driving, while simultaneously allowing a smooth, compliant feel over rough pavement, expansion joints, and transverse ridges.

Key Features:

  • Patented KONI Frequency Selective Damping (FSD) technology for automatic, self-adjusting performance
  • Controls large body motions and cornering forces for improved safety and road holding
  • Delivers smooth, comfortable ride over rough surfaces and road imperfections
  • Direct, 1-to-1 fitment — no modifications or adjustments required
  • OE-proven technology, used in over 1.5 million factory-equipped vehicles
  • Twin-tube, low-pressure gas construction
  • Iconic KONI red finish

KONI has been manufacturing automotive dampers since 1932, and the Special Active series represents the pinnacle of their street-driven shock absorber technology. The 8245 1416 is a single rear shock absorber sold individually.

fast shipping, Thanks!

THMOTORSPORTS responded and shipped my purchases of Auxbeam products very quickly. When received, everything looked to be in great shape. They also had the best prices of several vendors that I looked at. I would strongly recommend anyones next purchase to take a good look at THMOTORSPORTS as they definitely delivered on this purchase.
