COMP Cams 5494-CG Replacement Cam Gear for LS Street Gear Drive

The COMP Cams 5494-CG is the replacement cam gear designed specifically for use with the COMP Cams 5494 LS Street Gear Drive timing system. Built as a direct-fit component, this cam gear maintains the precision and durability that the 5494 gear drive system is known for.

The COMP Cams 5494 gear drive system — of which this cam gear is a key component — is engineered for RHS raised-cam LS engine blocks used in racing, street performance, marine, and extreme-duty applications. The gear drive design eliminates chain flutter and backlash, delivering the most accurate valve timing achievable compared to traditional timing chain systems.
