Why Use Floating Pin Locks?

Engines built with press-fit wrist pins can be converted to a floating pin setup, provided the piston features a lock ring groove. Floating wrist pins are a preferred choice among performance engine builders for their ability to reduce piston stress and improve pin longevity under high-load conditions. Wiseco wrist pin locks are built to keep the pin securely in place, protecting the cylinder wall and piston from damage caused by pin migration.

Sold as a pair. Compatible with Wiseco pistons and other performance pistons using a 0.866 in. (22 mm) floating wrist pin.
