COMP Cams 310103108 Xtreme Energy DLC Solid Flat Tappet Lifters GM .842 Diameter

The COMP Cams 310103108 Xtreme Energy DLC Solid Flat Tappet Lifter Set delivers race-proven performance for GM applications, featuring an advanced Diamond-Like Carbon (DLC) coating that creates an exceptionally hard, low-friction surface at the critical cam lobe-to-lifter interface. This set includes 8 lifters with a .842-inch diameter designed for solid flat tappet camshaft applications.

Key Features:

• Diamond-Like Carbon (DLC) Coated Face — Forms an ultra-hard, high-lubricity surface that dramatically reduces friction and wear between the lifter and camshaft lobe
• .842-Inch Diameter — Precision-machined to factory GM bore specifications for proper fit and controlled contact stress
• Solid Flat Tappet Design — Purpose-built for high-performance and race applications requiring aggressive camshaft profiles
• Extended Durability — DLC coating significantly extends the service life of both the lifter and camshaft compared to uncoated alternatives
• Compatible with Cast-Iron and Steel Camshafts — Works with a wide range of flat tappet camshaft materials for broad application coverage
• Engineered for Break-In and Beyond — Geometry and surface finish promote controlled contact stress during camshaft break-in while sustaining stability under high thermal and mechanical loads

Validated through rigorous endurance and load-cycle testing, these COMP Cams Xtreme Energy DLC lifters are a premium upgrade for performance builds demanding superior wear resistance and friction reduction. Whether used in street/strip or dedicated race engines, they pair seamlessly with COMP Cams Xtreme Energy flat tappet camshafts for a complete valvetrain solution.
