COMP Cams 310103008 Xtreme Energy DLC Hydraulic Flat Tappet Lifters GM .842 Diameter

The COMP Cams 310103008 Xtreme Energy DLC Hydraulic Flat Tappet Lifters are a high-quality, performance-proven solution for GM flat-tappet applications.

Each lifter is treated with a Diamond-Like Carbon (DLC) coating on the tappet face, creating an extremely hard, tough, and high-lubricity surface that dramatically reduces friction at the cam lobe/lifter interface. This advanced surface treatment extends both lifter and camshaft service life, significantly reducing the risk of cam lobe wear or failure.

Key Features:

• Diamond-Like Carbon (DLC) coated tappet face for superior wear resistance and reduced friction
• 0.842-inch diameter — fits GM Small Block and Big Block applications
• Hydraulic flat tappet design for quiet, self-adjusting operation
• Compatible with all cast-iron and steel camshafts
• Durability tested on a Spintron, simulating full racing seasons
• High lubricity DLC coating virtually eliminates the traditional flat-tappet break-in procedure
• Available individually (PN 310103001) or in larger sets for full engine builds

The Xtreme Energy DLC lifters are COMP Cams' answer to increasingly hard-to-find traditional iron flat-tappet lifters, offering a modern performance upgrade at an accessible price point. Whether building a street performance or track-day engine, these lifters deliver consistent, reliable operation across a wide range of RPMs.
