Product Details

The QA1 KMR16-1 is a KM Series 3-piece carbon steel male rod end featuring a 1-inch bore and 1-14 right-hand UNS thread. QA1's 3-piece construction presses the ball into a sleeve that is swaged around the ball to form an insert. The insert's outer diameter is then precision-turned and faced square before being staked into the rod end body, resulting in superior ball-to-race conformity and tighter tolerances than standard 2-piece designs.

The KM Series is QA1's traditional carbon steel male rod end line, engineered for applications demanding precision fit and reliable performance. Grease fitting and stud configurations are also available within the KM Series family.
