Genuine Porsche 948-105-304-08 Variable Valve Timing Solenoid OEM

The Genuine Porsche 948 105 304 08 is an OEM Variable Valve Timing (VVT) Solenoid engineered and manufactured to factory Porsche specifications. This solenoid is a critical component of the variable camshaft timing (VarioCam or VarioCam Plus) system, responsible for regulating oil pressure to the cam phaser or timing advance mechanism, enabling precise camshaft timing adjustments across the RPM range for optimal performance, fuel efficiency, and emissions compliance.

As a direct OEM replacement, this solenoid is the exact same part originally installed during vehicle production — ensuring a perfect fit, proper operation, and long-term reliability without the compromises often associated with aftermarket alternatives.

Key Features:

• Genuine OEM Part — manufactured to Porsche factory standards for guaranteed fitment and function
• Variable Valve Timing Control — regulates oil flow to the cam phaser for dynamic camshaft timing adjustment
• Direct Replacement — plug-and-play installation with no modifications required
• Precision Engineering — designed to meet strict Porsche tolerances for reliable, long-term performance
• Manufacturer Part Number: 948 105 304 08

Replacing a faulty VVT solenoid can resolve symptoms such as rough idle, poor fuel economy, reduced power, camshaft position sensor fault codes (e.g., P0010, P0011, P0013, P0014), and check engine light illumination. This genuine Porsche part restores the variable timing system to its original operating condition.
