Product Details

The Koni 8245 1442 is a Special-Active series shock absorber engineered for drivers who want improved handling without sacrificing ride comfort. Koni's Special-Active technology uses a patented self-adjusting valve system that automatically adapts damping force in real time — firming up during cornering, braking, and acceleration, then softening during straight-line cruising for a comfortable everyday ride.

Unlike fixed-rate shocks, the Special-Active design requires no manual adjustment or electronic controls. The internal hydraulic mechanism continuously senses and responds to road inputs, delivering a balanced combination of sporty performance and daily drivability that is well suited for both street and mild performance use.

Key Features:

  • Patented Self-Adjusting Technology — automatically varies damping between comfort and sport settings based on driving inputs
  • Twin-Tube Construction — proven design providing consistent, fade-resistant performance
  • Bolt-On Fitment — direct OE replacement requiring no modifications
  • Enhanced Handling — reduces body roll, nose dive, and squat compared to worn OEM units
  • Comfort Retention — maintains a supple ride on normal road surfaces
  • OEM-Quality Materials — corrosion-resistant finish for long service life
  • Manufacturer Part Number: 8245 1442

The Koni Special-Active line is a trusted choice among automotive enthusiasts and everyday drivers seeking a genuine performance upgrade. Koni shocks are manufactured in the Netherlands and are backed by the brand's decades-long reputation in motorsport and OE supply.

Received my order with no problems and in a timely manner. Would order from here again

Great prices!

Website said the system I ordered was different from what the order confirmation said. I called customer service who said they could not confirm what was shipped and told me to send inquiry via email. In the end the system fit, but If you are not going to help customers over the phone, don't have a customer service number!

Great easy to use the website
