Product Details

The Weld Racing RT-S S71 wheel brings proven racing technology to street and strip applications with a budget-friendly three-piece modular design. This 17x8.5 inch wheel features the classic Weld Racing five-spoke star design that has dominated drag racing for decades.

Construction and Design:

  • Forged billet aluminum center for exceptional strength-to-weight ratio
  • Cold forged rim shells using Weld's unique welded assembly process
  • Three-piece modular construction allows for precise fitment customization
  • Low pad mounting height designed for drum brakes, early disc brakes, and aftermarket drag racing brake systems
  • Made in Kansas City, Missouri USA at Weld's 140,000 square-foot facility

Specifications:

  • Diameter: 17 inches
  • Width: 8.5 inches
  • Bolt Pattern: 5x4.5 inches (5x114.3mm)
  • Backspacing: 5.5 inches
  • Finish: Gloss Black
  • Pad Height: Low
  • Lug Nut Seat: 60-degree conical (lug nuts sold separately)

What's Included:

  • Push-through center cap
  • Valve stem

The RT-S S71 series surpasses SFI 15.1 Drag Race Drive Wheel Specifications and SAE J2530 Aftermarket Wheel Standards for street use. The low pad configuration provides clearance for vintage brake systems and popular aftermarket drag racing brake packages. Requires 60-degree conical seat lug nuts (not included) - do not use factory lug nuts as they will not mate correctly with the wheel.

Have not recieved order yet, but price was good. Will see how long it takes and if I get the right product. Writing this review before arrivial.

Fantastic place to buy from. They had the best price for K&N oil filters for my motorbikes which was good enough. Then I ordered on a Saturday via normal shipping...got it Tuesday morning! Definitely going to order more in the future.
