The Diode Dynamics x Kuat DEK Roof Rack (DD8496) is a 47" x 60" universal roof rack system with a fully integrated 7-pod SS5 CrossLink LED light bar in a White Sport Driving configuration. Custom-fabricated to merge cargo utility with integrated lighting, the DEK delivers a clean, OEM-style appearance that sets it apart from conventional racks with bolt-on lights.

Adventure-Ready Construction

Built from durable, all-metal yet lightweight materials, the DEK is engineered to handle rooftop tents, recovery gear, and weekend cargo without compromise. Adjustable crossbars accommodate antennas and sunroofs, while generously sized T-channels offer flexible mounting positions for virtually any accessory. The rack supports a 300 lb dynamic and 1,000 lb static weight capacity, and installation requires no drilling. A Limited Lifetime Warranty is included.

7-Pod SS5 CrossLink Integrated Light Bar

This DD8496 configuration features the SS5 CrossLink light bar, which links seven SS5 LED pods into a single, bold light bar assembly integrated directly into the rack frame. The SS5 CrossLink uses Diode Dynamics' proprietary TIR (Total Internal Reflection) optics, which capture and direct virtually all light output precisely on target — eliminating glare and wasted light that plagues reflector-based designs.

White Sport Driving Beam Pattern

The White Sport version uses the Driving beam pattern — a broad-spot design that balances forward reach and lateral width at a 30x20 degree spread. This delivers the extra punch and distance needed for off-road and trail driving without the narrow tunnel-vision of a pure spot pattern. The Sport power level offers high-intensity output using automotive-grade LED emitters at an exceptional value.

Fully Illuminated Backlight

When the main beam is off, the SS5 CrossLink backlight fully illuminates the TIR optic, providing a selectable multicolor accent light in your choice of eight colors. This unique feature creates a distinctive appearance not found on conventional LED light bars.
