Rancho RS994313 RS9000XL 9-Position Adjustable Shock Absorber

The Rancho RS994313 is part of the RS9000XL series — the first nine-position manually adjustable ride control shock absorber series in the off-road market. Engineered for trucks, SUVs, and Jeeps running stock or lifted suspensions, the RS9000XL delivers a fully customizable damping experience whether you're cruising the highway, tackling rugged terrain, or hauling a heavy load.

Key Features:

• Nine-position adjustable damping knob — easily dial in firmness from soft daily-driver comfort to firm towing and off-road performance
• Nitrogen gas pressurized to minimize air-to-oil mixture, reducing damping fade and fluid foaming under demanding conditions
• Oversized shock body (up to 2.38 in.) for improved heat dissipation and consistent performance on and off road
• Polyurethane rebound bumper and bushings absorb ride harshness and enhance responsiveness to changing road conditions
• Graphite-filled fluon-banded piston for smoother compression and quicker rebound
• Low-friction, self-lubricating seal retains gas and oil for longer service life
• Polyvinyl protective boot shields the shock rod and oil seal from debris and corrosion
• Premium liquid metallic finish for long-lasting durability
• Ideal for stock and lifted applications that tow, haul, or venture off road

Damping Setting Guide:

• Settings 1–3: Similar to OE (stock) ride quality
• Settings 4–6: Slightly firmer than OE, ideal for mixed use
• Settings 7–9: Maximum firmness, best for towing and heavy loads

The RS9000XL installs rod-up, body-down on most applications. Rancho recommends priming shocks prior to installation to ensure optimal performance from the first mile.
