Rancho RS994239 RS9000XL 9-Position Adjustable Shock Absorber

The Rancho RS994239 is part of the legendary RS9000XL series — a premium, 9-position manually adjustable shock absorber engineered for trucks, SUVs, and off-road vehicles. Designed for drivers who demand versatility, the RS9000XL allows on-the-fly tuning to match changing road conditions, load requirements, and driving styles without any special tools.

Key Features:

• 9-Position Adjustable Damping: Dial in the perfect ride — from a smooth, compliant highway setting to a firm, controlled off-road calibration with a simple twist of the adjustment knob
• Monotube Gas-Charged Design: Large-bore monotube construction delivers consistent, fade-free performance even under extreme heat and repeated heavy use
• High-Pressure Nitrogen Charge: Eliminates aeration and fluid foaming for reliable damping response in all conditions
• Velocity-Sensitive Valving: Automatically adapts damping force to the speed and severity of wheel movement for a balanced ride
• Heavy-Duty Piston and Seals: Precision-machined components and high-quality seals ensure long service life and leak-free operation
• Direct-Fit Replacement: Engineered as a bolt-on replacement using factory mounting hardware — no drilling or modification required
• Rancho Protective Boot: Included protective boot shields the piston shaft from debris, dirt, and moisture to extend shock life

The RS9000XL series is a favorite among off-road enthusiasts, overlanders, and truck owners who regularly switch between towing/hauling duties and trail driving. Whether you're loaded down at the job site or navigating rocky terrain on the weekend, the RS994239 gives you the control to optimize your suspension performance on demand.
