Ohlins YA 966 TTX GP Rear Shock Absorber for Yamaha

The Öhlins YA 966 TTX GP is a premium, race-derived rear shock absorber engineered for Yamaha motorcycles. Built around Öhlins' flagship TTX (Twin Tube X) technology, this shock delivers exceptional damping performance, precise handling, and superior feedback — whether on the track or the street.

The TTX GP platform uses a patented twin-tube design that separates compression and rebound damping circuits, eliminating cavitation and ensuring consistent, fade-free performance lap after lap. This is the same technology trusted by MotoGP and World Superbike Championship teams worldwide.

Key Features:

• TTX Twin Tube Technology — Patented dual-tube construction separates oil flow for ultra-precise, consistent damping
• Fully Adjustable — External high- and low-speed compression damping, rebound damping, and spring preload adjustments
• Titanium Nitride (TiN) Coated Shaft — Hard coating reduces friction and extends service life
• Piggyback Reservoir — Provides additional oil volume for improved heat management and fade resistance
• Direct OEM Replacement Fitment — Bolt-on installation with no modifications required
• Race-Proven Construction — Materials and tolerances derived directly from Öhlins' motorsport program
• Manufacturer Part Number: YA 966

The Öhlins YA 966 TTX GP shock is the definitive upgrade for Yamaha riders seeking race-level suspension performance. Backed by Öhlins' decades of motorsport heritage, this unit transforms chassis dynamics and rider confidence on any surface.
