Ohlins TR 420 STX 46 Street Rear Shock Absorber S46PR1C1

The Öhlins TR 420 STX 46 Street is a premium rear shock absorber engineered for sportive street and performance motorcycle applications. Built around Öhlins' well-proven STX 46 platform, this monotube high-pressure gas shock delivers a significant handling upgrade over factory suspension.

Key Features:

• 46mm Main Piston — Large-diameter piston for superior damping consistency and performance
• Monotube High-Pressure Gas Design — External "piggyback" reservoir (Type Code: S46PR1C1) for improved heat dissipation and fade-free performance
• Adjustable Rebound Damping — Convenient adjuster wheel located above the end eye for easy, precise tuning
• Adjustable Compression Damping — Adjuster wheel or slot on the reservoir allows fine-tuning to suit riding style and conditions
• Nitrogen Pressurized — Internal nitrogen charge with separate reservoir eliminates aeration for consistent damping response
• 16mm Stem — Robust construction for long-term durability and reliability
• Street Performance Tuning — Factory calibrated for naked sports bikes and street performance riding

The Öhlins STX 46 Street series is built on the same technology platform that has won championships across MotoGP and World Superbike racing. The TR 420 shock absorber is a direct bolt-on upgrade that transforms handling, feedback, and rider confidence on the street. Type code S46PR1C1 denotes a single-tube monotube design with external piggyback reservoir, adjustable rebound (R1), and adjustable compression (C1) damping circuits.
