Ohlins RE 505 STX 46 Street Rear Shock Absorber

The Ohlins RE 505 is a premium rear shock absorber engineered as a direct-fit performance upgrade for Royal Enfield motorcycles. Built on Öhlins' proven STX 46 Street platform, this shock delivers a significant handling and comfort improvement over the factory rear suspension.

At the core of the RE 505 is a monotube, high-pressure gas design featuring a large 46mm main piston and an internal gas reservoir housed within the main shock body. This construction provides superior heat dissipation, consistent damping performance, and a more responsive feel compared to standard emulsion-type shocks.

Key Features:

• Monotube high-pressure gas design with internal reservoir for consistent, fade-free damping
• 46mm main piston for precise and responsive damping control
• Adjustable spring preload to suit different rider weights and load conditions
• Adjustable rebound damping to fine-tune suspension response to your riding style
• Direct OEM-replacement fitment — bolt-on installation with no modifications required
• Fully rebuildable and serviceable for long-term performance
• Manufactured to Öhlins' exacting quality standards, individually tested for each application

Every Öhlins shock absorber is individually calibrated and tested before leaving the factory, ensuring that the damping characteristics are precisely matched to the specific motorcycle application. The RE 505 is a rebuildable unit, making it a long-term investment in your motorcycle's performance and ride quality.
