Product Details

The Weld Racing RT-S S79 is a premier forged aluminum performance wheel that blends retro-inspired styling with modern racing engineering. Sold individually. This polished low pad variant (MPN: 79LP8090E61A) measures 18x9 inches with a 5x114.3mm (5x4.5") bolt circle and 6.1" backspacing, making it an ideal fitment for a wide range of high-performance street and strip applications.

Key Features:

  • 3-Piece Forged Construction: Features a forged billet center and cold forged rim shells assembled using Weld's proprietary welded process for maximum application flexibility
  • Primary Forging-Grade Aluminum: Manufactured from high-grade aluminum alloys for exceptional strength-to-weight ratio
  • Polished Finish: Classic polished shell delivers a show-quality appearance straight from the factory
  • Low Pad Design: Low mounting pad height engineered to clear specific brake caliper configurations
  • FEA & Destructive Tested: Every RT-S wheel undergoes Finite Element Analysis and in-house destructive testing to ensure safety and reliability
  • TPMS Compatible: Valve stem mount style supports factory and aftermarket TPMS sensors
  • Center Cap & Valve Stem Included
  • Conical Lug Nuts Required: OEM lug nuts are not compatible — aftermarket conical lug nuts must be used

The S79 carries on Weld Racing's legendary RT-S lineage with a 6-spoke design inspired by European styling of the 1970s and 1980s, updated for modern muscle cars and performance builds alike. Built in the USA, Weld Racing wheels are engineered to perform at racing speeds while remaining fully street legal.
