Falken 59002010 Azenis FK520 225/40R18 92Y XL Ultra-High Performance Summer Tire

The Falken Azenis FK520 is an ultra-high performance summer tire that brings next-generation racetrack technology to the road. As the successor to the best-selling Azenis FK510, the FK520 delivers an outstanding combination of grip, handling precision, ride comfort, and efficiency for performance-oriented passenger car drivers.

Engineered with Advanced 4D Nano Design technology — the result of pioneering research into molecular structures — this tire achieves improved wet performance, extended durability, and optimized fuel efficiency compared to conventional tire designs. An Aramid layer reinforcement, adopted from Falken's successful AZENIS race tires, provides ultra-precise handling and exceptional structural integrity.

Key Features:

• 4D Nano Design compound — advanced molecular technology for improved wet traction, durability, and rolling resistance
• Aramid layer reinforcement — race-derived structural layer for ultra-precise handling and cornering stability
• Asymmetric rib and block hybrid tread design — optimizes both dry grip and wet evacuation in a single pattern
• Long sweeping tread grooves — efficiently channel water away from the contact patch for enhanced wet safety
• Tapered notched grooves — improve ground contact and grip across varying road surfaces
• Supporting tread block bars — reinforce tread blocks under cornering loads for consistent, responsive handling
• Vertical tread notches — enhance traction and biting edges for improved braking performance
• Wide shoulder blocks — maximize the footprint during hard cornering for increased lateral stability
• Aerodynamic sidewall design with Nano-Black lettering for a premium, modern appearance
• Up to 10% reduced tire weight — lowers unsprung mass for improved ride quality and handling response
• XL (Extra Load) rated at 92Y — supports speeds up to 186 mph

The Falken Azenis FK520 225/40R18 delivers significantly shorter braking distances in both wet and dry conditions, enhanced damping comfort, and a further reduced noise level compared to its predecessor — making it an ideal upgrade for drivers seeking racetrack-inspired performance without sacrificing everyday drivability.
